As I'm sure many will know, Tim had been brought up watching the Tanners, clearly inheriting the green blood from his father Bernard and mother Barbara, and after serving as programme editor and committee member, returned to the fold when the Club was in it's darkest hour in 2000 to step into the breach as Chairman of the newly formed committee.
Without Tim's experience, knowledge, and generosity I have no doubt the fledging committee of 2000 would have struggled to get the Club going again, but Tim with his endless optimism brought all the various parts together and the rest, as they say is history.
Tim really was a people's person, and I'm sure that everyone will only have fond memories to remember him by.........mine will be the times when the atmosphere behind the goal would be a bit lacking and Tim would wander round and say, 'come on Moler let's get this rabble going' and start singing at the top of his considerable voice!
We may today have lost a part of our green family, but like his late father before him, he will never be forgotten.
My thoughts go out to his wife Christine and mother Barbara.
